I am among the 0.57% of Dters that have both Rockliff (my mancrush) and Murphy in my team and i'm not completely sure on who to use in the loophole and put the VC on. I'm currently leaning towards Rockliff as he pumped out a 130 last week but murphy also failed to disappoint nothcing up 116. Who would you put the VC on?

Murphy easy in my eyes, Rocky has never scored over 100 against the blues

Rockliff doesnt have the best record against the blues but has a slightly higher ceiling than Murph...

wont vote caus there is no other loophole. Try a title like cant decide who i should have as VC? not another loophole when you dont have one.

Rockliff's record isn't too bad against the blues, scores of 95 & 99 in the only two games he's played against them and both of those were at Etihad. He looks to be a very solid player these days and playing at the Gabba has the potential to go big

Murphy on the other hand has had scores of 129, 109 & 69 in his last three games vs Brisbane. Another player looking the goods this year with the potential to score big on the night.

For my money though I would have a punt on Rockliff with it being played at the Gabba. Rich seems to cop the Carrazzo tag so no worries there. Must be time for that first hundred against the blues and for your sake I hope its a big one

Getting a bit pedantic there mate, depends on how you read it. I took it as it was another "vc loophole thread" which I am sure it is.

I personally go rocky having said that I am bias coz I don't have murph, but being at the gabba has to have some influence

If it was me mate i would go with murphy. No particular reasoning just that i think he will prove better on the night :)

I'm always inclined to lean towards players who I think will win at the weekend. If you think the Lions will win, go Rockliff. If you think Carlton, then Murphy.

He's the obvious exception because he's a magic player in a team full of (DT) spuds. One exception doesn't break the trend, though. A winning team is more likely to provide higher scores.
