im going to amuse myself this week, and put the Vice on Golby.....why not !? what have i got to lose ?

Haha nice if he is your only Brisbane or Blues player. Keep in mind though there is an element of risk in that doing the loophole means you lose an emergency from one position ;)

Yeah all good. I will use Jmac if need be in midfield. I would say all my backs and forwards will play anyway.  Who knows, golby might pump out 120 !!! cant see it happening though, like i said, just for amusement sake !!

Adamant

VC loophole with Rockliff or Robbo but if they play shower then I will probably go will Ablett. Goddard could also be a good option against the suns, he pumped out a 152 against them last year!

mikeg12

ok just a quick question with this loop hole, never done it before and i dont want to f*k it up.

so say i choose JMac for Captain, Rockliff for VC.  The partial lock out is Thursday night.  Then Rockliff does good, leave the C on Jmac - Rockliff gets the double points.

If Rockliff does crap, I will be able to change the C from JMac to Swan due to the lockout open period on friday?

Correct?

Thats it

mikeg12

ok another one, just realised you cant put a C on a benched player.

So I sub JMac on to the field with the C on him.  put the VC on Rockliff.

If rockliff does well, i leave JMac on the field with the C - and have an emergency ready as he is not playing?

Rockliff does crap, i put the C on swan and put JMac back on the bench?

out of Swan Pendles, Goddard or Ablett - don't think Boyd will beat them
and Gibbs as VC

gotta love the 5 Premo Start!
Bulldogs lost to Freo in round 5 last year and Boyd racked up 162 DT points!!

What's Freo got to do with anything? I thought it was bulldogs vs Adelaide who Boyd doesn't have that good of a record against

Freo has a lot to do with it mate.
Essendon2 said that he doesn't think Boyd will beat the Crows therefore detracting from his appeal as a skipper option this week. I was merely pointing out that depsite losing last year to Freo Boyd racked up 162 DT points. This proves that Matty Boyd doesn't need his team to win to smash out huge scores.

His post didn't say anything about dogs vs crows. Pretty sure it was Boyd against the other options for captain this week...
At any rate I think there will be better options than Boyd this week

Hahaha fair enough!
Yeah not too sure but I thought he was referring to the fact that since the Dogs are probably going to lose this week it stopped Boydy from being a viable captain option.
Either way we both make good points regardless of whether or not they relate directly to the intial post :)

All good  ;)

back on subject - I think GAJ is still a captain lock, though Goddard and Buddy are tempting!

elephants

I'll be going...

James McDonald - C and Marc Murphy - VC

If Marc scores less than 120...

Scott Pendles - C and Marc Murphy - VC

Im thinking buddy with no scarlett playing

U should know that Harry Taylor plays on Buddy so I'd be inclined to stay away. Buddy will do well if he pushes up the ground, but Harry is a classy defender and will hold his own against buddy
