Keep Couch or trade him out?

Do I keep Couch or trade over to the only other guy I can afford which is Paine.
I already have Hall and Dickson.

Tough one, would generally say don't keep anyone not playing R1 and then just downgrade another rook when Couch on the bubble, but Paine's JS is very iffy. Maybe stick with Couch if you can't shuffle a bit to put a Smedts or another rookie forward in.

So I went with my gut and kept Couch hopefully he plays next week.

I liked the look of Couch, Magner and Tynan in the NAB cup and  think they should play lots of games if Melbourne want to improve.
But hey I'm not on the Dees selection panel.

I think the problem was being greedy and picking Couch in the first place. :P Now that you've got him, surely you've got to stick by him. Trading him out in the second week is a colossal waste.

Besides, his DPP means that even if he's not playing, he's not completely useless.

Read the first post wasn't  trading him out next week it was to trade him over to Paine this week which I didn't do.
I'm not the kind of idiot to go around wasting a trade after the 1st round.
