To Bock or not to Bock

Yes Bock
No Bock

With Bugg scoring 103 as my emergency is it worth putting big Nath Bock into my team?

My backline is Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, Broughton, Golby, Hargrave, Elllis. Meaning i would have to replace him with someone. Bock scored well with scores of 24,27(nab 1) 94 and 85 in NAB lookin like a good year in fullforward.

Hes out for the first 2 weeks so putting him on the field will give me Buggs score but is it worth waiting till rd 3 for him? and who to replace

Unless its guaranteed that a rookie will score 100 in rd 2 then no its not a good pick.

if bugg had of scored 20 and you still would take bock than its a good pick. If your only after bock to get buggs score, than it is a stupid pick

However if you're looking to go relatively unique with a speculative pick and are happy with the numbers Bock has put up this preseason and last season, then it's not a bad decision. It may be risky in week 2 relying on Ellis or Bugg to play and play well - but it's at least worth contemplating.

If people are doing this and changing there whole structure for one round, then that is just silly. In the long run sacrificing a premiums points for an entire season for short term points is a terrible idea.
