Which do you think is a better pick? both don't miss many games, swallow is cheaper, murphy averages more and is in a better team although there are talks that ratten will rest key players this year. cheers

Murphy is more consistent. Swallow has a higher ceiling. I've gone Swallow as I think he'll have a big and more consistent year.

I had this dilemma too. I went with Murphy. I read in the prospectus that he has 3 games where he scored less than 80 and that two of the 3 were scores of 79. That sold me. At his age and with Judd likely to get the best tagger I only see him getting better. Having said that, Swallow will be unique and could potentially have another massive year but in my eyes won't have the midfield help that Murphy does to boost his scores.

This is my logic anyway.

i guess you get what you pay for. that extra $39k or so gives you that safer option where you know murphy will score more consistently with the help around him.

i predict swallow will have a more consistent and big year though. his such a great in and under player who loves to tackle.

Probably should note your going to have to eventually pick a round 11 premium mid anyway to get around the bye.
