Why the hell isn't Ryder a ruck in finals dream team!? There aren't many Essendon players or Rucks to choose from!! Fine, at the start of the year he wasn't expected to play as a ruckmen, but surely they could have updated it.

Clark, and maybe Ottens, are the only decent premium ruckmen around.

Fraser averages 87 this year, and Tippett 73. That's not premium material.

Seriously, its a bit of joke that Ryder hasn't been reclassified as a ruckmen - and that Essendon's designated ruckmen of Bellchambers, Hille, Bock and Laycock have played a total of 10 games this year - does that mean Essendon haven't played a ruckmen in at least 12 games?

and yeh last i heard Ryder was looking at a week but if he contests it and wins he could get rid of the charge.

Yeah true ossie85 they should of up-graded there info..

but Ryder only averages 82...

so Fraser or Tippet against the Dons friday nyt would be my call.

Yeah, didn't mean to imply Ryder was a premium! But I did. Soz about that.

It is incredibly unlikely but imagine if Collingwood and Essendon played in the Grand Final and the Pies went in with only Fraser? Everyone would have a donut!!

Im not sure if i should start by doin my midfield and go from there.

But doin that you could just about pick 3 geelong players already.

Have to do alot of research against opponents etc...

All pretty hard! Midfield has so many options, so you can play around with that a bit... but finding the right balance in forward/defense is always tricky.

With Ryder confirmed not to play - which Essendon player do you choose? Not much to choose from - play Stanton/Winderlich/Watson? But so many midfielders better than them. Think I'll play McPhee down back.

And Jesse White might be a possible 'out' of the ruck.
