The way I see it, is if your money isn't on the field, it isn't making you any money.

I see it like this, pick the best team with the best value you can using all your money and if you have any leftover then its a bonus. So dont pick a worse team just to have some cash in the piggy bank.

Saying that, i like to have 20-30k atleast just because of how handy it is when trading. Dont let keeping cash in the bank make your team worse.

Mr.Craig

If you have doubts about any cheap rookies you've got then you'll want at least 10k in the bank to give yourself room to move if you need to find a quick replacement.

I always like to keep $30-40k handy. You need some liquidity otherwise you can be forced into unwise trades.

1) Gives you some breathing room in case of injuries, etc. Nothing worse than looking down the list from your player and only seeing spuds.

2) If you pick a smokey who ends up liking the vest, you can trade up to the player who did kick off even after their price has risen

3) When you go to upgrade your rookies later, you're not necessarily forced to sell your best players (ie, the ones who have risen most in price). You've got more options.

i got about $64k atm, but that will possibly change by next week

I usually pocket anywhere between $30-50k...handy with first upgrades and the fact that alot of people usually make 2-4 trades mvoing rookies around by round 2 and 3

Chelskiman

I have $42k left, but I'm happy with my current team, so the extra cash is a bonus, epspecially for later upgrades.

the more coin kept the better i reckon. Always need cash easy at hand for drugs and hookers. The more coin the better.

As much coin as possible. A bonus 100k would be ideal.

Zombie2.5

As much money as possible people, spend the least amount of money you can, get all rookies and the CHEAPEST rookies too.

^^ this is what you guys seem to be saying
