Do NOT start without Darley. He will be the best SC scorer for GWS in their backline and it's only a matter of time before he's in the side.

Just make sure that all of the other rookies you select in the backline are playing and you'll still have an emergency who will line up for round 1.

What makes you say that though? His nab sc scores werent exactly flattering and theres clearly a js issue if he isnt getting a game round one

NAB scores are not a good indication of how a player will score during the season proper.
He's a gun.
Sheedy has said he'll be rotating players like there's no tomorrow.
It's only a matter of time until he's in the side.
His NEAFL stats show that he is an excellent SC scorer.
There are no GWS backline players who will score as well as he will except maybe Bugg who everybody has anyway.

fever

but it doesn't bode well for him in the "rotation" department if he's fit for r1 and not named.

Pretty much their entire list is fit for round 1. Can't fit them all into the starting side.

cortez

they would have picked there best team possible for round 1. it is the derby and since it is the only game on this weekeend  the will want to put out tbeir best team  causr you dont wanna get flogged by 100 points when the only game the media will be talking abour is your game. just quietly im very happy no one has voted for boumann :-)

I understand what your saying but surely sheeds has put what he feels is his best side available for round 1, the clubs first afl game. And this is without a number of senior players being available.. if hes not considered in the best 22, when hes only fighting for a spot with other first year players then what hope does he have when the 4 or 5 senior players that are missing slot back into the side.. i think its safer to go with guys like mohr or townsend who wont necessarily score as well, but have a better JS
