Possible upside to Darley not being selected

Keep Darley, play him on the field as captain with a garunteed emergency to take advantage of the VC split round loophole. Every other player in your team should be playing anyway. Then hope he gets rotated in next round. At worst you burn a trade after round 2 for the best performing def rookie to take his spot.

You realise by naming him captain that that means you will have to take your VC score don't you. So that tactic wouldn't work at all!

If you don't understand I will explain. Say you give Mumford the vc to try and take advantage of the loophole. You have also given Darley the captaincy, which means both of them will be locked in after tomorrows game, so you wont be able to change the captaincy if mumford stinks it up!

As CF said it won't work.

The only upside to Darley not being selected is that you could save a trade down the track.

Hah, of course. Apologies for the brain fart. I blame Sheedy for everything. Clearly he has Miles and Darley in his supercoach team and wants to screw everyone else out of them!
