Longer

Am I missing something? Longer seems to have much better NAB form than Orren Stephenson, but anyone with a 1:3 ruck has Stephenson as R4. Redden and Giles obviously stick out as the best rookie rucks, but I don't see too many teams with Longer. Can someone enlighten me.

Brisbane have leuy and hudson as ruck 1 and 2. Nuff said.

Fair enough, but Hudson hasn't played a single preseason match and Longer has played them all.

I have seriously considered him.........

It was the extra $50k for Longer and the heightened job security for Orren that made me go with the 'Big O'

Hmm, have they been playing him up forward at all.  Maybe with Mitch Clark gone???, seeming pretty risky now when you put it like that. Defo think he will earn more points than Stephenson. But JS wold be an issue.

I can't really see him scoring too much more.

He did play forward a bit, snagged a couple of goals.

Also, Orren has a mature body so wont need to be rested whereas longer may miss a few due to that reason.

But then again maybe i'm just trying to convince myself because I can't afford longer anymore  :P

longer doesn't have the job security, but better scoring potential.
