as we seen with gold coast last year most rookies can be a bit topsy turvy. i mean with bugg, mcdonald and kennedy, i had them on the field (luck) but as some people will believe or say next week they will get low 30s.on the other end of the spectrum is people like devon smith or coniglio who scored low and yet people are keeping the faith. dream team is all about faith in players. so who have u stuck with? im sticking with jmac, kennedy, bugg and devon smith. because i have FAITH in smith doubling his score weekly. so what rookies are u sticking with? ALS0 I WOULD LIKE TO ADD IF ANYBODY GETS CHAD CORNES THEY SHOULD BE BANISHED FROM FANFOOTY AND DREAM TEAM ALTOGETHER.

A few people seem to be unhappy with Devon Smith's 69, i myself am pretty happy. A 70 from a rookie is acceptable and we know what hes capable of with that 110 he scored a couple weeks ago. Gotta keep him no matter what.

Yep and despite Colignio's average score I reckon he looked pretty convincing so no too worried.

I picked my GWS rookies (Bugg,Shiel,Coniglio,Kennedy,Giles) knowing full well they could be terribly inconsistent week to week scoring wise.. But also good enough to provide decent job security. Round1&2 sorts out the men from the boys in fantasyland. Sit back and watch the masses burn early trades trying to fix "mistakes" they've made in their initial squads.. Rush to pickup a non-playing forward/back to take advantage of kennedy & bugg's emergency loopholes. All the wile destroying their chances at overall honors this year.

Let the games begin! :)

true, and i think maybe a few good coaches will be vying for that option.

I am not happy that i listened to everyone on here. Although i will be happy if he starts to fail.

I don't think you'll see too many sub 50 scores from the likes of mcdonald, bugg, coniglio, giles so i'd expect to see a certain level of consistency. Guys like d.smith will obviously have some problems getting the ball if gws is getting slaughtered and it never goes to their fwd line. His 69 was good considering they only finished with only 37 points.
If Kennedy plays in the backline, you should probably field him above d.smith though, because you're likely to get a better output.

Im thinking it was a master-stroke for me to dump all my mid pricers. Guns and rooks baby!!!. Oh except for you Danger ill class you as premo already.  ;D

l was rapt with how the GWS rooks went, exceeded all of my expectations  :o

l had Giles, Kennedy, Smith and McDonald on ground, and Bugg & Shiel on the bench. l'll be keeping alll of them and am definately not going to risk compromising my team by picking a non-player just to get Bugg's score.

ln my opinion its much better to begin the season with a team full of starters than go risky with opinion based selections
.....think of all the teams that had Hibberd from the get go last year

Yeh like nostra im pretty happy, have Smith, Kenedy, Bugg, Shiel expected a lowish score from Shiel as he was a prime sub candidate. All in all im rapt and making money. Sweet. ;D
