Lockout query????

Just wondering if it would be possible to swap a player from mids to forwards after the first or second lockout. For example if i picked a gws dpp like smith in the midfield and started him on the field, and then come friday before full lockout i decide he would be better in the forward line can i swap him with a starting forward who hasnt played yet?
