Dempsey - what puts people off him? Injury concerns?,low ceiling?,JS? He has done everything possible in his recovery from a knee op,played well,bulked up considerably,is fit, and drawn praise from Hird for effort and attitude. With so many mid-priced options in defense(Waters,Malceski,Lake,Hargrave,Conca,B.Smith,Grimes) I want to consider all possibilities. Is any more risk than these others? I had him first year I played SC(not knowing anything,just picked fav players and Bombers)and while he didn't set the world on fire he played most games and avg over 80. For his price I would have thought that is decent.

I got him every time i take him out i want him back lol i'm bombers fan also and he is in our best 22 as you said Hird loves him

Running half back with Clearance D50 and long kick should rack up the stats and be a strong link player out of defence.

In my team at the momentand highly likely to stay. As good a risk as Malceski, Hanley, Waters, Hargrave - similar role and mostly cheaper option.
