a quick poll on McCarthy

l was wondering what people think McCarthy will average at his new club, now that he's set for a permanent midfield role

He'll be up and done. Should have some good games though.

I'd say in the 80s.  Haven't paid much attention to him in the NAB Cup, but he was an okay player while at Collingwood.  Definitely enough of a ball magnet to average 80s if played consistently through the midfield.

Right now I have McCarthy, I think the fact that he should score a bit better than most rookies coupled with the lack of round 13 bye in the mid rookies sees him in my team ATM. Hoping he can make it into the low 80's...

should average 85+ especially since he's been scoring at 130 points per 100mins in the NAB Cup

Going by his NAB form high 80s. Still can't separate him and Masten.

haha you kidding, scored 99 in his only full game from 86% game time in round 2, then a 64 from 44% TOG and in round 4 a 66 from 39%! TOG, he looks alright to me  :D
