Upgrade Targets, Who are they?

This is my ideal team by rd 18-20

Backs: God, Scot, Lids, Birch, Shaw, Carrots, Broughts/Enright/Heppell or some player who have poped well like suyckling last year

Mids: Swan, Murphs, Pendles, Ablett, Boyd, Selwood (maybe other prems)

Rucks: Cox, Mummy

Forwards: Buddy, Goodes, Martin, Sidebut, Fyfe, then the choice of Gia/Johnson/Chapman/Robbo.

That is my ideal team. I currently have 13/14 of those players.

goddard as an upgrade target is laughable.

He is so underpriced.

I would have expanded on this, but I was annotating advanced chem notes for uni lol.

Basically, goddard is chronically underpriced, you would only not start with him if you thought he was going to flop this year, in which case he wouldn't make a good upgrade target.

Im not so sure that his price is at a season low. If he had a couple of mediocre weeks say 70 70 between 2 solid weeks of 100 he will drop 35-40K. On current form his not been a stand out probably on par with last seasons ordinary pre-season. Making Goddard a possible upgrade target for r7-11 isnt going to kill your whole dt season. You cant have all the premos you want for round 1.

You can't win the FJ if your team is exactly the same as everyone elses mate.

if the majority of people pick him and he fires, it will kill your season. For example, one of the biggest POD with last years SC winner was that he DIDNT have goddard.

yeah, I see goddard flopping early, considering he doesn't play a top 8 team from last year until round 6. He plays GC twice in the first 11 matches, for christ sake, his opening games are against GC and Port.

Lol Madsnake, but if I get off to better start then my team will outscore. And that's why I mentioned several extra players cause its a choice of them so it's not the same. Similar.
