Sam Docherty

Heard he is playing his first game of the season and I've promptly chucked him in at number 7.

I think he will impress this week and push for a spot come round one. He'll be the sub, but has loads of talent.

Played 16 games for Gippsland Power and averaged a tidy 22 possessions a game, 5 marks, 13 kicks, 9 handballs and 86 dream team points a game. 4th in rebound 50's in whole competition.

Second in intercept possessions behind only Buntine. Slayed in his under 18 games. Racking up the second most points for a defender at the carnival.

He reads the play well and is a handy dual position player. Dunno what Voss has in store, but his impressive. If he is named round 1 he is in. Clarke at 6.

Could fit him into my mids but would leave me with only about $4000 cash left, which is a bit too low for my liking.  Defence is where he will likely make into my team if he finds a way in.

My thinking exactly. I'm thinking that Adcock cold play more of a lock down role and Docherty gets freed up.

It would be be good to see what Voss does.  ;)

exactly thats why im going to avoid hanley and adcock, with the price of docherty though you can afford to take a punt. even if he is a lock down defender and scores 60 i would be happy if he plays every week.
