think you'll find he averaged 105 in SC last year  and hasnt got under 99 for 5-6 years str8
Sure thing.
Still, an average of 94 in Dreamteam is nothing to be ashamed of. By 2011 averages that puts him ahead of all but 7 forwards.
look hes a great player and his score are absolutly nothing to be ashamed of, but if u take the last 3 years into account one would have to say nick riewoldt is a better scorer. on top of everything else pav is getting older and freo do like to rest their stars, i wont be surprised if when they play GWS or GC that sandi and pav will get the general soreness bug.
people will select their team how ever they want and everyone has to form their own opinion.
to the original poster i say dont get him, about 3 or 4 say get him. so going with the weight of numbers you are better to have him in your side

elephants

Pav for an average of 95-100. Fyfe for an average of 90-110. I wanna see how Fyfe goes when Mundy, Morabito and Barlow are re-injected into the Freo midfield.

i dont post my team, im not looking for advice on my side..
a healthy discussion on players and strategy is what forums should be about.  when someone asks for advice, giving that person some different views and opinions is a good thing.
there is no right or wrong answers just different versions of guessing :P

But the way you said it was like Pavlich was a rubbish DT option.

"Pavlich is not a DT'er."

Averaging 90 odd is still better than most of the competition.  :P

oh ok, i def didnt mean he is/was rubbish,,  i was pointing out that(well trying, and obv. not well) certain players are stronger in different comps.  and pav is not the best option in DT,  its been 5 years since he played every game of a season and he has only ONCE averaged over 100 (102 in 07)  now at the age of 31-32, there is no logical reason to think he will play every game and that he will up his average from the last 4 years..(i know he has had a good pre-season)
so in summary he is a GOOD option, but not the BEST.  and i was trying to help someone make a better team... and i plan on winning the whole thing so i better know what im talking about hey? ;D

Fair enough mate.  ;)

I think this is something we all agree on.  :D

have to consider Pavlich is back playing in the half forward where he scores well. Might even improve on average from previous seasons with a very dt friendly 'Riewoldt' role under Lyon. Pav's will run and lead all day in the wide spaces of Pattison Stadium. Heaps on +6 points coming!

and for that reason, i decided to squeeze him in alongside with Fyfe. I don't really like the idea of two players from same team in the same position but both have their upside and are looking good. Locked and Locked.  :)

I'm getting both. both are GUNS and Pav still has a few years left in him.
