Is anybody actually taking into consideration DPP's this year?

not really as of yet...

i have a sh!teloade of DPP's in my forward line and a few in defence, but can't seem to fit any into my midfield!

At best I will probably have one link into my fwd line from the mids, and possibly a link between fwd/def

There is no point choosing a rookie that will score less but is DPP imo. There are so many options in the midfield that are mid only that are too good to pass up

I'm defo not going with any B/C dpps in the middle, only good rookie for that is Brown and he's not even in my team backline. Not much use using a mid rookie spot for a player who won't play or score that great.

C/F is a different matter. I have a DPP link in the middle in Zorko, who can swap with my 7 C/F links up forward. Lots of room for versatility and flexibility there with those 8 players able to roam around. If Zorko is really injured and not ready for R1 I'll just swap him with Couch or someone and trade him for a forward rookie. C/F DPP is a must with the wealth of guns and rookies with that C/F label.

I think the true benefit of DPP will come from being able to move a dpp and then trade to replace in their position so having initial link is not essential. Having said that I will have 1 dpp in mid bench - D. Smith at this stage.

Yeah i discussed this in the link posted by The It. Its an interesting question. I think the best thing to do is to trade out your juicy cash cows around bye time to dpp players to allow the freedom of moving your c/b's and c'f's around. This the will let them make some money and give us the benefit of using the new dpp trading rule. I hope that helps everyone :)

Im going to pick the best possible rooks in each position. If they happen to have a dpp connection to another line, that's great, if not im not to worried about it.
