Best mid/def combo?

Basically i have 998k for a 4th def and 4th mid spot and i think one of these fairly unique combos would go est as the rest of my team is fairly stock. What do you reckon is best?

nothing wrong with priddid he is a champ, but yeah although grimes may be a great pick he is risky and there are SOOOOOOO many great options for mid priced defenders cheaper too imo.
