I would have both Judd and Ablett in my team!

Everyone says get ablett when he drops however, example: say he gets 160 one rd then the next he gets 90 and the week after he gets 170......he has still met his average so won't go down in price + to get him from a cash cow rookie or somewhere like that then you would still have to trade a keeper player that is up there in price, example, a player who is worth $550 and trade a rookie that has gone up in price for around $250 (u still need to buy a rookie remember) So what you effectively are doing is using a trade on a keeper you would not have usually traded just to get him in, trading a keeper for a keeper!

ablett is bouned to go down in price, he will not stay at 712 or what ever his at. It only takes on bad round, like a 80 from him, which will eventually happen, and his price falls, it all depends when he is going to have his slump, sooner the better i say

read some of the points in the gary ablett topic. it explains that he has to get less than an average of 132 for 3 games (the current rd plus the 2 previous). it is not out of the question that he cannot maintain 132 for the first 3 rds, given that he plays hawthorn first and will be out to prove a point. i believe someone states the first 6 or so games that geelong play, and ablett has been known to score well against those teams. ablett is a hit and miss for all players, if you have him and he has a few bad ones then you have to watch him crash. if you dont have him and he averages 140 for the first 15 rd (like last year); expect to wait a while until he gets below 600k and get beaten by sides with him as captain.  i've got him with judd in midfield as my only prem mids.
