or a rating out of 10!

MC

You have Hanley as D3 and JRoo as F5? Need to balance that out.

Get rid of Cooney, he'll drag you down. Him to a rookie, Hayes to a gun (need a consistent captain choice), and upgrade defense.

What he said ... plus:

- DEF: Birchall should be D3 at the most. You need either Deledio, Scotland or Shaw at D2 behind Goddard. You've gone very deep in your midfield (D6 at $347k????) I would suggest dropping Burgoyne, Malceski and Selwood and making one a premium and two rookies (include Clarke in the definition of rookie). Having that much depth in your defence is a waste of money. Careful with Wilkes, will most likely play Full Back (to replace Dawson) and may pinch hit in the forward line, so his scoring potential may be very limited.

- MID: Need at least one, if not two more premiums (Pendlebury, Ablett or Swan make nice captain choices), see MC for the changes to be made here.

- RUCK: If Sandi can play 22 games this year then he'll be the steal of the year, if not then you've wasted your $600k. Ditto with Kreuzer, who if he plays will play extremely well, but if he misses matches through injury he may find it hard to force his way back into the side.

- FWD: Riewoldt averaged 81 last season, which is about what you want for F5, but if you think about it and make your selection wisely, you could have that same average for $300k less. Freeing up money to upgrade Hurley (you really need to upgrade Hurley, he needs to average about 90 to make him worthwhile) and your midfield.

Good luck.
