looked pretty good with scores of 33 & 34 in a poor bombers side, but will he have a spot when fletcher,heppel,lovett-murray and hardingham are in the squad?

if so at $348,400 could be a better option than heppell? ($415,900)  thoughts?

Colliwobblers

NO heppell is miles better, hibberd kicekd it out on the full or to no one 75% of the time, looked under the pump, its only his 2nd year and he looked like it, he is bigger physically but he looked better last season. of course its only the first game of nab cup so he should get better but heppell is already elite for a defender no comparison.

Hibbard actually played pretty poorly. The commentators got up him a couple of times so...yeah

TheMailman

Might be worth something in DT in the future

Maybe in a couple of years when he learns to properly slot himself into the Bombers defence

Heppell plays Mid and backs so he's definetly the one you'd want

He will average 80 or 90 this year I reckon. Gets lots of possession and is a good rebounding player. He even made it to the forward fifty once or twice. I had him last year and was very happy until he got into some biffo down the peninsula and didn't return the ones. Anyway I'm very tempted as I know he will consistently get above 80 this year and should play all games. The price is the concern. Therefor think I will go Dempsey instead as he's cheaper and should go up in price. They actually play kind of similar roles.

ScoreGasm

Definitely Heppel over Hibberd. Heppel loves running out of defence and sometimes lines up on a wing. Hibberd played deep in defence and his disposal was very poor tonight. Hibberd is going to be a good player in the future but not worthy for me just yet.

Hibbo isn't exactly in the boss' good books either. Heppell Much safer although neither are in my team...

nostradamus

Heppell is without a doubt heaps better than Hibberd. Another problem l have with Hibbs can be best described as
the "Heath Shaw" syndrome.......good footballer but he's a nuffa

from what i saw i actually thought he was easily one of the bombers best, he made a few mistakes, but the bombers were pretty atrocious overall and he provided some decent resistance/rebound in defense

in saying that... i probs would steer clear purely cos heppell will take all his points u'd think... if he gets a game

mezzoculo

Aren't he and Baguley competing for a spot? If so, I'm hoping that the $85k mature-age rookie smashes it!!

Pass don't think he has good job security...

Being one of the Bombers best, doesn't mean he played well lol.
