Atm i have 13 prems (over 500k), 1 mid(between 200k and 500k) and 16 rookies ( under 200k) is this an ok set up or should i have less rookies. cause by tbe numbers its normally 2 rookies equal 1  prem which means with 13 starting prems ill need to use 16 trades to upgrade 8 from rookie to prems and hopefully a straight swap from my mid price to a prem. that is 17  trades to get to a full 22 prems. thats sounds about rught ir am i missing something?

I was reading an article on last years SC winner and his tips on what he may do is 10 prems. incl. 1 perm. captain of GAJ, Swan or Pendles, mpp's and GWS rookies plus mature aged players from other clubs, He never stated any mid pricers but i'd think he'd have 3-4 in there as 20 rookies would be a bit much.

I do like your planning on the 17 trade formula leaving spare trades in case of ;-)

ah k. yea i dont have any atm between 450k and 500k. mine atm is 4-3-1-5.

mine's 4-3-2-4, i think 12-14 is a good amount of premiums, regardless of structure.

4-3-2-4 for me.  I think 4 premiums in the midfield may be over kill seeing as though there are so many cash cow rookie midfielders this year.

as it stands i'm 5-2-1-5, though i'm struggling with the balance of the team so will likely end up 4-3-1-5 or so

Assuming $450k is cut off for prems I Have 4,4,1,4  12/14 is probably ideal.

If we are talking 450+ I am 4-4-2-4. Don't waste my dollars on anyone between 200-400. Likely to get as good an average out of a rookie and earn more $$$s

12+ premiums is a good starting point. I have 13 with a 3-4-1-5 stucture. Grimes is my only player between 200-500k. I think the prem/rookie structure is the best way to go. With room for just 1-2 mid pricers.
