hey guys! this is the team i have so far, im thinking i need to switch around some of my rookies, as i need to cover the MPP a bit better. Just wondering also, which MPP rooks would you keep from the ones that i have, and which ones would you axe in way of more suited for the bye rounds!

WAS ALSO considering dumping bower and/or clarke for bugg or s.morris as cheaper rookie options that will get game time??

ONE MORE THING! -> I have all 3 GAJ swan and pendles, just wondering if thats overload or if they will hold their value and i should take the risk of the 3 big guns in there from the start?

BELOW IS MY UPDATED TEAM! i wasnt too sure about Grimes over Lake in the DEF im just wondering who you guys would consider a bigger risk? and im tossing up which ruckman stays or goes in this team to make way for maric, since maric will allow me to bolster another position on the field while earning me money to be able to upgrade him at a later date? thanks :DD

Greatly appreciate anyone taking the time to rip my team to shreds and will do yours in return haha :D

Looks like a very strong side

A few points,
Not sure about bower? Rookies will be more likely to be profitable?
Bit iffy on having for guns in the mid maybe down grade one for Barlow which may get you a stronger defender?
Zaharakis is another risky player as he has knee tendinitis and can be inconsistent?

As a suggestion I would ditch a mid for Barlow, trade bower for a rookie, get rid of either ruckman for a maric, mcintosh or kreuzer giving you more money to upgrade a defender or forward?

In terms of rookies, big things are heard about Morris (rich) couch(melb) ross(stk) crozier(fre) spurr (fre)

All food for thought

Rating of 8/10

Rate my side please?

Having so much cash invested into mids from the same side is devastating during the byes. Need to be mindful of that! Mid rookies are the best cows - and defenders could be the worst. I'd downgrade swan/pendles and upgrade Bower.

Looks like a very good team though mate.

Ringo

Very solid team

As has been said you have a very loaded mid field including 2 from Pies which will hurt during byes. I would downgrade Pendles to Barlow and then upgrade Bower in defence with extra cash.

With regards MPP I am deciding whether to use 1 or 2 in mids - will cut down cash cows if I go 2 so leaning towards 1 at the moment. (Will be either Zorko or Brown)

Rating 8.5/10

Thanks for the suggestions! ive taken out swanny, because the last few years his had a slowish start and chucked in barlow and buddy, while picking up bugg in the def and changing up lake for grimes (melb). Do you think grimes is a less risky move than lake?

thanks Ringo! i ended up axe-ing swanny because the last few years his had a bit of a sluggish start, and i dumped bower in place of bugg from GWS and was thinking about changing up lake for grimes, or do you think thats just as big a risk as each other? Also i was keen on maric, but mcevoy has no competition at st kilda in the ruck, and berger is no.1 in brisbane, do you think maric will out perform either of them, or at least perform well enough to be a valuable mid ranged investment to later upgrade? thanks!

Ringo

In respone to your questions watch in the NAB cup and then select which one looks the best out of Grimes and Lake and if neither plays flip a coin. Maric looked good but can we gauge on 2 halfs of football,  Maybe a pretty good mid/low priced ruck to upgarde though if he keeps performing like that. Could be an option if you adopt a 1 Prem 1 mid 2 rook option.

Looks like it will end up being a coin toss, but ill keep an eye on it! yeah your right, i think i just got exceited because the tigers had a ruckman that seems to be able to actually play the position properly haha! i guess ill watch him throughout the rest of the nab cup and get a better handle on him. Would you suggest going to 1 prem 1 mid price ruckmen? or do you feel its a safer bet in the long run? my only thinking is that barring injury (touch wood) the rucks can basically stay the same without the need to upgrade unless a sideways trade can be managed (or close to) for sandi or cox?

thanks again dude! much appreciated!

Ringo

I myself at the moment am going Berger, Zac Smith, Giles and Stephenson.  So 1,1,2 structure. Believe Smith will score reasonably well till byes and then will be perfect upgrade to a prem ruck if he does not maintain it later in the season.
