Duffield/Armstrong/Lake is way too much of a risk, the chances of all 3 coming off a very slim. Just go with one of them so that if it messes up, it isnt hard to rectify. Hawkins and Porplyzia are in the same boat, but I would stray away from them both. Porplyzia wont score much more than a normal rookie so you can save yourself some cash there, and hawkins will probably hover in the middle of DT mediocrity for a while so I would find a better option there.

I reckon Duffield is less of a risk as he'll more than likely return to his half back role this season as he had to play a Midfield role last because of Freo's injury's.

Hawkins has more upside potential than risk, he's a break out contender especially considering J Pod is struggling with injury this pre-season.

boo-yaa

a zone defence during the season will make hawkins look very average, correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't the grand final a man on man setup?
collingwood changed their game plan for the GF and it didn't come off ?
