Grimes and waters both of them in that dirty low-mid 300 range which frees up some cash for use elsewhere but can they both become keepers if not could just use the cash they make to upgrade. Is having both just being a tight arse and stupid or could it pay off they 4th and 5th defenders at the moment any thoughts.

Colliwobblers

only as a 4th and 5th defender not as 3rd and 4th maybe. But defenders score worst of all so if your taking mid priced risks take them in defence, problem is with brown nroo christensen dangerfield rohan porps winowlicker up forward there are temptations there as well, but how many risks is too many risks

im going for grimes only. not confident but big reward if he stays fit. waters pissed me off when i picked him up late late year. i cannot forgive you beau

Grimsey is the biggest risk in my team atm, for reasons stated above

grimes over waters
Beau is still injured and won't be participating in NAB cup (source: sunday times)
Also I see Grimesy as a better scorer because eagles may want to start adding other players down in defence to run and carry the ball e.g. Brad Shepperd

if waters misses nab games it's because of his value to the side and the abiity he has previously shown to perform straight away without match practice. his elbow injury is a strange one that will always mean the less knocks the better.
he will play from rnd one for sure and he always scores well.

I had read it the west australian, lets say i over exaggerated though they are still nursing him through the preseason

QuoteClub officials are expected to continue their cautious approach with both Waters (elbow) and Brown (shoulder/knee).

Waters, the club's vice-captain, has been eased through the pre-season after managing just 11 matches last year on the back of suffering a dislocation to his elbow similar to the one that threatened his career in 2008.

Both he and Brown remain in the rehabilitation group and are not expected to play until late in the NAB Cup.

Its just always so iffy with Beau, where as Grimes was a lil unlucky last season with a freak injury

Woosha also confirmed on 6pr last night that Waters won't play this week and neither will natinui. He mentioned that Cox and more than likely Lycett will ruck.
