had chapman all last year and was a bit didsappointing however he still managed to average over 100. the suprising thing was that i read an article the other day and he said he struggled to get out of bed last year little all average over 100. he also said that he feels rejuvinated now however the big question for me is will he still get midfield time or will he be put into the forward line to allow him to play on in the coming years. has anyone seen anything at training that might suggest anything. it just makes me wonder how well he could go if he averaged over 100 last year and he was injured if he is now fit could nearly be a bargain pick. although he is now 30 which is very worrying.

and stevie j is just an absolute star and am leaning towards him at the moment half due to the fact of his age and the leadership role and also due to the fact that he killed me last year. i think he might be a bit of an upgrade target but one thing with stevie is that there are a couple of pretty poor teams in the afl that he always kills so he is likely to have a high average at the end of the year. im going to pick him up i reckon at some time of the year justb dont know to start him or upgrade target. im thinking he is a bit of a unique to start and if he does go bang at the start he could be a good pick up.

What Chappy wants, Chappy gets!!  ;D He'll play midfield time for sure along with a whole host of others. I saw that document as well so he should b great for this year!!

Stevie J will b an upgrade after the byes! A lil overpriced for mine and will come down

If I was to choose, it would be Chappy for me.

HOWEVER, there are only two spots for premiums with the Round 12 bye in my forward line ATM and neither have been filled by Chappy or Stevie J...

Chappy will be more consistent, Stevie J prob has a higher ceiling. when he goes big, he goes real big.

If I remember correctly in that interview with Chappy that you're referring to Starz, didn't he also say that he still has the same problem as last year but he feels good now and he's hoping he can manage it better this year?  It may be a different story I saw, but just that hint that not ALL is well gave me the jitters and steered me away from Chappy, at least for now.

Just re read the article and it said he had post season surgery to fix it up and is now feeling rejuvenated and hasn't missed a beat this pre season.

Also said that he did nothing last pre season so it makes me wonder now with a full pre season under his belt will he get back to his best

I steered away from Chappy last year because of the hammys, and it didnt really hury me, 3 scores over 130 (just) isnt a big deal. And when you consider johnson had 4 over 130 with two big 170's I am all over that.

I jumped off Chammy last year .. every other year he was one of the first picked .. Stevie J  for me
