OK here is my first crack at a Supercoach side for the year - not expecting to make too many changes (Depending on feedback) until the NAB cup is underway.

Backs - Goddard, Deledio, Bob Murphy, A Selwood, M Clarke, Smedts, Morris (Darley, L Brown)

Mids - Pendles, Ablett, M Murphy, A Swallow, Pfeiffer, Shiel (Tyson, Mitchell)

Rucks - Mumford, McEvoy (Giles, Stephenson)

Fwds - Buddy, Zaharakis, Higgins, J Brown, A Didak, Zorko, Treloar, (Hampton, Couch)

Cash left - $124,200

Big worry is the forwards. J Brown and A Didak I think both have potential to come good this year, however, it may be a big risk to put both of them there.

The ruck is a definite starter for me. I like McEvoy and think he will have a big year and as long as Mummy stays clean he will be pretty solid. The Reserves pretty much choose themselves.

Any feedback greatly appreciated

Like the mids and the rucks Redcats.

Didak injured already and must go (look at him as a cheap in later in the season)

Higgins has usual worries as well (not a good track record with soft tissue injuries)

Robert Murphy usually has afew high scoring games but too few for me.

I'd be looking for another premium in the fwds.

Good Luck 8)

Thanks Free Kick. Didn't see about Didak but will get on to it. Agree on the premium in the forward line. Will get back for a bit of a tinker and see what I can come up with.

Second crack at it.

Murphy out for Broughton
Higgins and Didak gone for LeCras and Christensen (Considering Lachie Hansen instead of Christensen???)

Only the fwds still have me a little worried. Still $68,000 to play with so maybe a couple of changes would be possible.

gotheroos!

defence: don't think a chief tagger (selwood) is worth it. better off getting lake / upgrade to a gun
mids: very good.
rucks: perfect, maybe leuy over mcevoy but doesn't really matter
fwds: u said that my fwd line didn't have enough guns, but i reckon u've got the same problem! buddy is good, the others are ALL gambles. maybe upgrade one and downgrade the other. so go christensen to porpleyzia then upgrade zaharakis to goodes, lecras to sidebottom /cloke

good luck!
thx for ur help with my team

Agree with the forwards. They are my only real concern, but I do have a bit of cash to go. Not liking the Porps option, but in saying that I am still unsteady with the Christensen option as well. Not sure I want to throw another risk in with J Brown there already. Christensen (perhaps Lachy Hansen) I think are both pretty good options who will go up in price this year (just don't know by how much) and play a heap of games. A bit more thought for me to do later. I'll hold off on Goodes for the time being, maybe a possible upgrade later on, but the Swannies have a real tough second half so maybe not?

I think Scott will be the tagger over Adam out the Selwood boys at West Coast, and I think Adam is definitely worth the price. Lake for me was a major dud last year and I just don't know if he will get back to where he was before.
