Will not comment on rookies but just to say pick the best available at the best price in your case if a rookie is performing the same as Coniglio and cost $50k less go with the lesser priced one.  After all you are aiming to maximise your cash for upgrades.  I will be steering away from Premium priced rookies unless they tear it up in NAB cup.

Regarding your team the only real problem I see is in the mids with having to play 3 rookies each week.  A risk imo but if you are happy with the risks then ok as it is your team.

Some good advice there!

Would you have any recommendations for cheaper midfield rookies aside coniglio? Ive had my eye on Clifton at 130K?
and yes it is a bit risky playing 3 rookies in the midfield but also one of the quickest ways to make cash if you have the right cashcow's to upgrade, i also have numerous (For/mids) in my forward line i can alternatively bring into effect at any time to help that midfield rookie issue - do you have any further thoughts?

Just watch the NAB Cup to see who jumps out and then go on gut feel.  I currently have Clifton in my team. Just bear in mind with the DPP that if you move back to mids then your bench forward must also be scoring well.
Also have a look at the various threads on rookies in the players and SC section for write ups on the various rookies.

i would change pav or chappy to martin to avoid a donut from one of the three you have (goodes) on the round 12 bye in the fwd line that is all, good looking side, probably one less premium in the middle and one more in the fwd than most teams but its good to be unique. gave it a 8 also. and some more player info here.

do you have any recommendations for who you would change in the forward line? ive had cloke on my eye as well for the forward line but being a key forward ud think he will score lower than midfield/forwards.

in regards to the round 12 bye im hopeful of using DPP or an upgrade by that stage, but its been noted down of who has what byes :)
