i got him regardless because the GWS back line is going to see a lot of ball ... my only worry is that he could get stuck in a dormant fullback position

I really hate when people say this because it isnt tru. shower teams always score shower no matter how much ball they are seeing. The modern game is so different and you show that you actually dont understand it at all because the good defences rack up dt points because they are good enough to chip the ball around and work as a team passing the ball around to get it out of defence. shower defences see the ball but they dont touch it it goes over their head for goals over and over and over. If collingwood play gws the ball is still going to spend ages in collingwoods backline because the modern game is played that way.

not really if the player is good enough they will star due to them receiving the ball a lot. Look at GAJ! legend player and saw a lot of ball in the mids due to the centre bounce and so he dominated DT. Furthermore, what about Z.Smith due to the suns having a lot of points scored against them the ball would go back to the centre bounce and smith would have a 50/50 chance at getting hit out points, so just because they are in a better team doesn't mean they are a better defender and scorer of DT points, it depends on player, and for his price and talent it makes Buntine a great DT choice.
