Rookies are just place fillers really... will be adjusted according to form and selection in nab cup/ round 1

All good, except for the midfield it lacks some point scoring ability.

It does, but I like the idea of bolstering up back and forward premiums and using all the mid rookies available, which will more likely play more games, to your advantage.

Midfield on paper looks lacking. But all players can improve.

But it's not what I'd do though.

Going for league not overall.

FWDs and Backs should only need 1-2 upgrades to be set. Mids do need the most work but i really want to include my smokies some how of Ziebell and gaff.

This team will probably throw a few league matches early but i should have enough trades + heaps of cash to pull of the big upgrades and also shouldnt miss the best rookies.

thats my justification anyway :P

but suggestions are welcomed

EDITED LINEUP WITH NEW TACTIC
Dropped Bower for docherty
Dropped Brown for a rookie (have b.dick atm but just a place filler)
Upgraded Ziebell to sellwood

Since ziebell is suspended for first 2 rounds I dont need to get him in my team till round 5 lockout. Play all my rookies for the first 4 rounds which gives them all 2 prices changes (even if they play shower they still will go up 100k). I can monitor ziebell to see if he's hitting his straps and then with the leftover 247k + price change of my worst performing mid rookie do an upgrade.

It is blowing a trade early but puts me in a pretty strong position.

Salary cap left: $247,900.
