Ok this may seem kind of dumb and obvious but I see this way to often,

"Oh, I heard somewhere that Player X is injured/having surgery"

An easy way to check this is very very simple:

Go to google.com and click on news

then type in "Player X injury/surgery"

If nothing comes up, It's 90% likely that the injury is very minor or there is no injury

This may sound cynical but there are so many of these posts going around

Why are you so uptight about people posting injury news? Seriously dude people, myself included are just posting info they have heard or read. The only thing that really matters at the moment is round 1 selection, until then I hope people continue to post this info. If not for injury rumors and news the only thing this website is good for is the never ending Selwood v Pendlebury or Pendlebury v Swan or Swan v Selwood threads.

I am in no way uptight about people posting about what they hear on twitter/friends etc.

I myself two years ago was conned into trading out ablett because a friend showed a news feed from 2009  :P

This is more to help people like me back then.

This is in no way a rage/ annoyed post

Let all the newbs get sucked in by false stories, it's the only way they'll learn.
