Thoughts?

Def: Not sold on Burgoyne but my opinion.
Mids: Solid
Rucks: One prem and 3 rookies structure which has been commented on.
Forwards: Sound would have preferred Johnson to Chapman (dodgy hammies and age) but a difference of some 25k which probably dictates decision.
Overall like the prems and watch rookies during NAB Cup.
Rate 8.5/10

DEF: very deep 5 premiums is great good rooks watch dochertys recovery progress. not familiar with brown would look at ellis or morris myself from the tiges.
MID: Solid great rooks but horsley needs to be promoted off the rokkie list
RUCK: risky i dont like the 1-3 strategy could cost you a lot of points in the ruck by the time you upgrade but could pay off also.
FWD: very deep again with 5 premiums if you count brown who should have a great year. good roocks here too.

Overall a strong side good premiums and good rooks, personally i would downgrade brown or burgoyne to get in a more solid 2nd ruck but that just me.

Nice team. Good Luck in 2012.

Good team with both prems and rooks.  Just watch NAB cup and select the best.  Docherty could have a delayed start as he is training with the rehab group.  Usual comments about Lake.  Riewoldt and Brown in forward line would only take one.
8.5/10 Well done and good luck.

Hey Pewz,

Bacs: one of the few squads that have Fish in it - why not looks a nice POD - i guess peeps are concerned about Watters intentions with Sam. Gibbo nice rebounder type also, could be used as a lock down defender which is concerning.
Mids: very strong, Barlow would scare me off a little, still can work.
Rucs: Like them too.
Fwd: I do rate Robbo - represents a little risk - still strong enough.

Quite a strong side with 2 or 3 PODs - all the best with it.

Strong set here Pewz. Only need to have a plan B for J.Brown and Barlow....as do a lot of selectors. Nice backline PODS

Backs: Gibson not really a good SC backman IMO. He is more of a stopper than a rebounding backman who seem to get more of the ball. If you could free up another 8k you could bring in suckling who i think will get higher scores. Or for 473k you could try Yarran.
Mids: Very stong line here. Not sure how many game McDonald will play?
Rucks: Cant fault them
FWDS: good POD with Robbo. Im not sold on him but there is potential there.

Well balanced team.
