Good team, but I think you have a bit too many risks.

Well, Jeremy Taylor had two good games sure, but its not worth 324k IMO
I think you should get EITHER Davis or lake. What you could do, is downgrade Taylor to say someone like Steve Morris, a mature age recruit for richmond who is tipped to go well, and upgrade either Davis or Lake to a premium defender. Docherty is under an injury cloud, but might be able to play nab cup. If that has scared you away from him, Luke Brown and Tim Golds are the better MPPs to replace him. Sam Darley is interesting, but he would have to compete for his points from other young stars from GWS. I think Brandon Ellis, Billie Smedts or the guys i've mentioned are better options IMO.

I think you're a premium short of a great midfield. Winderlich is just too risky, and polec is too expensive for what he is expected to do this year. So i recommend downgrading polec to a highly rated midfielder like Zorko (aware that he's in forward line, but ill explain), who also gives you that MPP status in the midfield, and upgrading Winderlich to a risky option, but one that could reward you with great score in Michael Barlow. Again, with Greene, he'd be competing for points with other GWS midfielders (which is why im not really having any). Though he could work. If u wanted another MPP, Darren Pfieffer is set to go really well for port adelaide this year.

Nice Rucks, Ryder is a cool secondary.

Nice premiums in forward line, runs deep. I think i will go ahead and say this, Gumbleton is probably one of the worst SC players, EVER! lol. I recommend maybe Sam Kerridge, adelaides first NAB pick (an MPP) instead, gives you an extra 60k as well. Dont think Dick will get many games, so perhaps Treloar will be a better option. And since i said Zorko was in the midfield, I think Tom Couch is an excellent replacement. A mature age (23) (mid/for) for melb who may easily step into the team and make a huge impact. I should know, im a melb supporter  ;D

So enough criticism, I love all your premiums, should do you well!

Hope i was helpful  :)

Well I have to agree, way too mid priced and risky for my liking. You will struggle for upgrade $ with not enough cash cow rooks and if the many mid pricers you have do not perform you will be in a ton of trouble in regards to your scoring capacity.

I don't need to offer any advice after Purples good advice but in the same vein I would upgrade and downgrade all your mid pricers to a more GUN/ROOK team.

Of the ones you have NRoo, Brown should be  fine and Windy,Lake and Davis might be fine. Hard to say, thats the risk with mid pricers and again you have a lot.

As purple says strong premiums that you do have , all your rooks are great except I don't know Darley, and watch Docherty, we all want him but he may not be back for round 1, which may be fine if he starts by round 4 probably worth having him already anyway otherwise you will have to early trade another rook to get him in before his 3rd game and price rise.

Good Luck

Fantastic feedback guys, thankyou very much.

I agree, looking at my squad again I can see the risks you highlighted purple. I will take your advice and have a look at the players you suggested and shuffle around with some trades and post the results.

Thank you once again for some great feedback

Cheers

Thanks for the advice, I downgraded what you said and now I can afford a premium like Murphy to add to my mid. I will check out the NAB cup to see how the youngsters go. I also put in Cornelius, he improved last year. I think he will go even better this year. However I have big J.Brown as well. Is it to dicey to have both?

Cheers

I think JB is a must have this year. As for cornelius, every team needs a unique  :), could work! A lot better looking team IMO

Ringo

Cornelius may be fighting for a place in Brisbanes side and a bit of a risk. He will be behind both Brown and Karnezis and can see him fighting out the third spot with Lisle. Would be looking at similar priced players or even go with Karnezis who is only 16k dearer and has a little more job security imo and still unique. Watch both pre season. Also think you are taking a risk with both Brown and Riewoldt together but that is just me.
Also watch Davis pre season to see whether he is given lock down roles or a running role.  If a running role then ok but if lock down no as traditionally not a lot of SC points for these types of players.
Much better team but still a couple of risks 7.5/10

Not a bad team but perhaps a bit light on for premiums. Easiest way to fix this is to pick the team you want to have in the final game. Fit as many of these evenly accross the board as you can with a few mediums you think are set to explode and try to top up with cash/cow rookies. may be wrong but counted only 6 dpps amongst the def/for lines. You may need a couple of rookie dpps in the mid for more flexibility. Gumbleton is a brave call but may be a good one. With all the time out he's had the bombers still want him, the guy must be good. There are a few risks but that's good, otherwise we all pick the same team and of course the NAB cup should decide these issues for us all. Best of luck, cheers.
