My main concern is the 7 GWS players ive selected.

Thoughts?

Not a bad first up team. Are you taking too much of a risk with both Grimes and Lake coming back after long lay offs.

An observation is if you wish to take advantage of DPP in early rounds you have no links to mids from either backs or forwards.

Not overly concerned with 7 GWS players from start as they are not locked yet and your final rookies will be based on NAB cup and being named.  Even if you still have the 7 you will probably have upgraded most by the time byes come around but just make sure as you trade you are aiming for the strategy you have for byes.

Know what you mean with Grimes and Lake will be watching both closely during the NAB cup, just keep thinking back to Lake in 2010, marking all those opposition kicks, the sky is the limit if he can get the body right, need a reason to leave him out at that price.

Yeah tried not to get too caught up in the whole DPP scenario too much just yet. Fair call with the rookies, everyones changes them a million times before round 1.

Thanks for that Ringo

Hey Slick.

Overall a fairly good squad - many sides i've seen are taking the risk with Grimes, Lake, JB - it's a reasonable risk=reward approach. One which i wont necessarily be taking - although you only have three such "concerns". Seven GWS seems ok, most will have at least 5 some 8 it's of no concern in the end the NAB cup should sort the cheapies out for us.
My main concern is NicNat - i did read that he had had surgery on his pectoral at the end of last year.

Thanks for that Loz, heard he was carrying that injury through the latter parts of last season, be keeping an eye on him during the NAB cup.
