I saw that Impromptu, the SC 2011 winner, said he approached the 2010 season with 8, yes, 8 rookies in the midfield, and he said himself that he thought he did better that year and he finished around 1000th.

Will anyone have the Weet Bix to do this strategy?

8 is just way too hard you would think, you would want some insider info on who is gonna be playin early rounds or else you could easily be eating some donuts. however my structure at the moment has 5 rookie mids, dont think i got the cojones to go more than that tho. i tell ya with all the mid pricers this year i reckon i have seen a few teams that dont even have 8 rookies in their whole team let alone just in the midfield

you should not be unique for the sake of being unique.  you need be calculated and have a specific reason for going a particular structure.  A lot depends on your INDIVIDUAL perception of value and how strong the player pool is in each position.  This will vary every year.

You also need to factor your strengths whether that be picking mid price bolters, rookies and/or premiums.

That's as far as I would punt. I would prefer 2 though.

Im tempted to go with 5 rookies but theirs no way i would go more than 6

In short, it was not only captan choice, I missed the PODs train and then refused to get him, I missed Eski and then refused to get him, but more importantly I had Rockliff and traded him out...LOL

The key I think was Eski, who really punished me.

could i just ask u a question,, what was the lowest rank u got down too? or furthest point differential between you and the leader during the year?
  last year there was the standard argument about how far back you can get and still have a shot at winning..
