As much as I love some of there sportsman, I can't imagine they would be the most interesting dinner guests you could come up with.
I'd have to agree, I could do better than Hilfy :P

If I could invite any 5 people to dinner (only going for current people, not any time in history), I would most likely invite...

Partners in crime...

Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry

My favourite authors...

Lee Child and Matthew Reilly

and finally...

Quentin Tarantino

Just went with people who I find really interesting so would be able to have great conversations with for the night ;)

Gwenyth Paltrow is pretty damn cool too.

The hatred I feel for this woman.... the best role she ever played was in Seven, well, I don't want to ruin the movie but it involved being in a box...

LOL she mostly plays roles in girly movies. The mathematics one was good too.

5 people to dinner would be TOOOOVEY! Kiera Knightly, Johnny Depp (he'd be classic to have over), Lemminy Snickets, and Sean Connery. Can I have 6? Terry Pratchett!

I like this list, although I feel Matthew Reilly's books have gone downhill since Area 7. Still love to have him at a dinner party to tell him that :)
