I know there is probably a thread about this bloke but couldnt find one. He is massive!!!! And with Brown retiring is there room in collingwoods side for him? 208cm and 113 kg. He would have to.play a few wouldnt he?

He wouldn't "have to" because Wood is very capable of being the 2nd ruckman. However, Witts has so much potential and Collingwood are keen to see what he is capable of. If he has decent VFL form they will give him a run at some stage. He showed a lot of promise when he got a few games late in the VFL season. Good mobility, agility and clean hands for any ruckman, let alone the 2nd tallest one in the league. Jolly has 1-2 seasons left in him so the Pies will be looking to develop both Wood and Witts as much as possible I'd say. Maybe 16 games to Wood, 6 to Witts?

As a collingwood fan i like the look of the guy, is Jolly is fully fit will struggle to get games early but can deinately see him coming in for a few at some stage.

Perfect guy to downgrade to when giles, stephenson, rowe hit thier top $.

Jolly's only 10 seconds off the pace in the time trials atm behind the midfield group, Looks fit so far, Witts should play a few but hopefully when Giles for gws peaks and i can downgrade to him, Wood just isn't cuttin it so far for the pies

Yeah wood just not quite up to it. Gives his all for the club and has a lot of repsect for it, but never going to be a star.

I wonder if Witts will grow the extra 3 cm to pass sandi, he is 209cm and 19, could happen
