both, if forced t choose then Thompson but only so you can get Swan and Pendles... ;)

Selwood for the long-term, Thompson until he has finished playing GCS, GWS and PA, then upgrade to elite.

For me Jelwood, Thompson averaged a ton for the first time last year which is surprising.

Obviously with the week draw and extra weight on his shoulders he will score well but personally I think Selwood will lift as captain.

Thompson plays Brisbane, Melbourne and Gold Coast is the last three weeks!

hmmm, ok, until after he rises enough to get your elite of choice  :D

Thompson could very well become elite guys. Seems he is still very underrated

He certainly could, but only if he is playing GWS, GCS or PA every week and getting 50 possies... then he might get 130s ::)

I agree with Stew 42.  Had Thompson a couple years ago.  Gets a lot of cheap uncontested possessions.  Hardly ever takes a contested mark, and usually chips the ball short to another player running past.  That's why he needs 30-40 possessions to score 120.  He doesn't get tagged all that often because he's not that damaging a player, and when he does get tagged he doesn't handle it at all well.  I rate Selwood twice the player that Thompson is.
