All of us know about Giles and Sephenson, and they're gunna feature in many teams.

But which other rookie priced rucks do you think will get decent game time this year?

Do you think players like......Ayce Cordy
                                       Rhyse Stanley r/f
                                       Jarrod Redden
                                       Josh Jenkins........have a decent chance?

Cordy- WBD, even with hudson gone there's still minson and roughead right? I mean, he did play 2 games last year, pinch hitting in the ruck by the looks of it, but even with hudson gone there's still two rucks ahead of m, and he doesn't look like a prolific DTer anyway. No thanks.

Stanley- JS looks pretty low. Honestly, unless Mcevoy or one of the saints forwards go down with an LTI, unlikely.

Redden- probably the best possibility so far with the retirement of brogan. That being said, port do already have renouf and lobbe... this kid'll probably end up with games though.

Jenkins- same situation as Stanley tbh, probably a little worse, since the crows have Jacobs, with Tippett to pinch-hit.

other rookies... longer maybe, although there's not much room for him in the side.

some of the GC ones I guess... Gorringe probably looks like the best JS- they do need to groom someone to support Smith when fraser retires. He should also get a 10% discount. He also averaged over 50 if you remove his sub affected/ injury affected games. Top 10 pick as well.

actually, didn't realise how good gorringe looked until I researched him... if you're going a super cheapie ruck, lets say HMac + Giles, slotting him in as 4th bench spot after stephenson would be a smooth move.

another one for the list could be Scott Lycett from WC

.....He is highly thought of over west as a fwd/ruck, and they want to groom him for the future. I realise Cox/Nicnat are No 1 & 2 by a mile, and barring injury its gunna stat that way.

But do you think Lycett might get some gametime this season as a fwd with the occasional run in the ruck?

Cicjose

doubt it unless WCE play like they did in 2010

Jukes

Miles and Longer for me to back-up Leuenberger and Goldstein

miles is a mid :P

you mean giles?

elephants

Set and forget is my line of thinking.
Otherwise I think Jenkins might get a run of you're after a point of difference.

I'm getting both so I'll figure it out.

And now Im getting Stephenson > Longer

bold call. I'd reconsider that for several reasons
1) look at the price difference
2) look at the difference in experienced between the remaining rucks at geelong, and the rucks at brisbane.

l think Jukes means that he's getting Stephenson instead of Longer
