Confusing

My head is still spinning from the draft this morning. I don't understand Ports thinking. Why train Urquhart and Lower and then pick up Mcarthy who has no interest in leaving Victoria, then to pass their last pick?????

They didn't like what they saw in Urquhart maybe.

Port had been in extensive talks w McCarthy and the word was he was happy to try on m game time at Port or Richmond, but if he had the choice he would have preferred to stay in Melb. They wouldn't select a player who wouldn't want to play for them.

Besides it's just a load of track work at the moment more than anything.
