Weather permitting, I will be attending the first of as many as four Giants matches this year at Manuka tomorrow, as the Giants - on there biggest winning streak ever - take on the mighty Richmond Tigers.

Was wondering if the Giant supporters (i.e. Ziplock) think that GWS are taking there commitment to Canberra seriously, I was pleased that they are playing 3 home matches in Canberra this year, and the "Canberra Guernsey" is a nice gesture....

Telstra tower in it, which is interesting....

Maybe they can go away from Sydney and stay in Canberra :)

Ziplock

I think they'll take their commitment to canberra as seriously as they'll take their commitment to the rest of the season- they know they don't have enough high class players atm to really put up serious challenges, and so they're not going to run their team into the ground with injury for the youngsters. So, while we probably wont be seeing their best 22 in any given week, perhaps barring round 1, the 22 we see will still be giving it their all, and the with amount of young talent, there probably won't be much difference between the best 22 and any 22 played in a week.

so, basically, I think that you'll be seeing solid games- I was pretty cut the GC/GWS game is at manuka... considering road tripping to canberra for it tbh :P

Just got back from the first game...

Small but solid crowd of 4000ish people, Giants have a lot of work to do, and were competitive for the 2nd quarter and half of the 3rd. They have much bigger bodies then I expected
