Well I just use a program i have called Snipping Tool which gets anything on the screen into an Image file, and then i put it on a photosharing website to have an internet link for it, and then i would supply you with the link to the picture in the reply; but if you cant do it, then dont worry about it.

I've already said the formations that seem to work a lot.
Experiment by clicking on a player in the Pre-Match instructions, to set some arrows. Just experiment with them, with whatever you think makes sense. The things i will say, is not to put arrows on your defenders, and if there is an arrow going up, there should usually also be one going down to compliment it.
Make sure everyone that is in your starting 11 the night/evening before your match, is at least 90%.
Tackling Style - Normal
Mentality - Attacking
Passing Style - Mixed
Attacking Style - Mixed
Tempo - Fast
Pressing - All Over

Have a minimum of Target Man and Playmaker checked, but experiment with the other options.
Have a good bench that is shared between positions (i.e 2 defenders, 3 mids, 2 fwds) So then if you are versing a team you think you will beat easily, sub 3 older people or people who are bit more tirerder than the other before the match, at 75 mins; but if you think it will be a close match, prob best not to Sub.

Also, go to the people who you actually play, and give them all a new contract 3-5 extra years, to boost their morale so they play better.
And make sure anyone in your squad who is 21 or under, is in your Youth Squad.

No problemm.
That is after i think half a year of SM and experimenting with Tactics.

You should join the FF League anyway, even if you are still improving and figuring out the best way to do things...

Nice help Luigi 8). Welcome to the game Chumps. It's pretty hard at first but gets easier over time, although I still suck at tactics :P.

I'll help out a bit tommorrow with some tips as have my last exam tommorrow which I've been studying for today :P.

Um what?? That would be counter productive and stupid. A playmaker is there to create opportunities and get your team to pass the ball around, a target man is used when you basically want to skip the midfield and kick it long up front. Those 2 wouldn't work together

hummm....
I never thought about it like that.
I feel that the Playmaker is there so he can do his job whenever, but then to have one of your strikers the Target Man for the other times when that long ball is needed; you should be able to have both though and still seem alright, cause its not like the playmaker will be involved in every play....

I have done Playmaker and Target Man before. Did in the Australian Championship Cup final and won 4-1 (although it was only for the last 30 minutes). I Usually have one of Playmaker/Target Man chosen as well as 1-3 Chosen. Counter-attacking I usually only do if you have have side-backs but don't do it if you only have 3 defenders. Tight Marking and Men Behind Ball are my other Defensive ones I use. I don't use the offside trap much but not to say it could work also. I suggest toying around with say two of them (Although Men Behind Ball and Offside Trap will contradict themselves as CF would say ;)).

You have 15 Mil in the bank.... My suggestion on buying is go Cheap at the start. Oldies help a bit although can get some Say early-late 20's for cheap if you search hard enough (e.g 87 rated Fwd I love getting use to be Keirrison from Barca for like 3 Mil). Check your chairman's valuation on them. Usually for a new/low team, he could be valued at 6-8 Mil! So when you do decide to sell him, could make double what you spend! An easy way to make money :). Search around a bit and see if there are any 85-88 rated players for your team which would come cheap but could be worth more to the club. At first you can't really grow attached to your players if you want the side to grow in a small league such as the A-League.

The BEST way to make money is buying players who are set to rise in ratings soon. A rise in ratings = worth more money. Alot of people do this for 70-75 rated players. They buy them for like 10k (70 rated) or like 300-500k (75 rated). Sometimes they'll jump by +5 or even +11 so they gain a Million on what you bought them for. Can even go for risers who are 80+ rated as the higher they are rated when they rise, the more they are worth. I'd suggest scrolling around the forums and check out if any players are in line for a rise Soon but aren't worth alot. Some players should rise but make sure the league rating changes are coming up soon-ish. These are just predictions but more often than not, the guys on the forum predict most rises.

Hopefully that helps Chumps :).

A massive thanks HP, that is heaps helpful  :D

I'm still not entirely sure though, what determines if a players rating increases? What's it based on?
Thanks again man  8)

That's an easy question; their performance in real life.

Thats why youngens will go up in rating because they are young and improving; furthermore, people who just aren't really making a difference to their team will go down in rating.

I honestly think Torress will go down by 2...

Justin Bieber

He should go down 1 at least!

Yeah, they are based on Real Life although sometimes biased to the team (e.g Ozil plays for Real and is 94 maybe a tad overrated from what they say on the forums when he received it).

I don't watch soccer from around the world so the forums are where I go if I need some cash in the future. Scope out the 70 or 75 rated players, or if you have the cash, the 88-93 Rated players who will get a bigger boost from a rating rise. 70-75 players are great when you first start out in a small league. I did this with Gold Coast and same with my Middleborough squad as well as stocking up on ALOT of young talent.

My Chumps

Ahhh, that's quite cool  8)
Probably makes some of my signings look pretty stupid  :-\
AKA, Macheda not getting gametime....

Also HP, I reckon Ozil should be rated pretty highly, I mean, the blokes a flowering superstar IMO  :P
Perhaps 94 is a bit much, maybe around 92 I reckon...

Justin Bieber

Macheda playing for Man U means he should keep his rating though. I sometimes go for Favourites especially with my Chievo account.

I bought Roque Santa Cruz (Favourite player) along with Daniel Van Buyten (Other Favourite). Reminds me I need to rebuy Van Buyten :P. It's not fun if you don't add some of your favs over the long term, no point having a squad you don't like.
