DT Gun

but still has the same body with the same scar tissue and the same attitude to run back with the flight

elephants

Yeah good point. The point I'm making is recently his durability has been better than very early in his career :)

DT Gun

Your saying that eating Carpet is better than eating raw chicken?

Both are bad, one a little more so than the other

elephants

Haha ripping out the similies and metaphors tonight DTG.

Fair points elephants, I still maintain he is injury prone. But I'm not saying don't select him (I might select him yet!) just with two other injury players there, it seems risky. If anything I'd keep Brown, but ditch Winderlich and Porpoise. But that's just me :)

Too many injury-prone and/or suspension-prone players, namely: Shaw, Waters, Grimes, Lake, Hayes, Morabito, McIntosh, Franklin, Winderlich, and Porplyzia. Morabito coming back from a knee also but I think he's cheap enough if he plays.

I really don't think Porplyzia will get back to decent scoring if even regular football. He'll be played very close to goal with Tippett leading out. Also, as an Eagles fan I've just got Waters out of my team as I'm going with Grimes instead. But the Eagles have a decent draw early so if he shows form in the NAB Cup he could be worth a shot. Shame he's not a little cheaper though.

Good luck.

Interesting, but alot of these "midfield time" articles pop up around this time of year and don't materialise unless there's an injury plague which goes through the midfield. Yes, Tippett had a shocking year but outside of him & Taylor Walker, Adelaide don't have another forward 50 marking option, so I think Porplyzia will be playing mainly as a forward. We'll see.
