how long does access stay open to the site though ?

Pretty sure sites are open all year round aren't they? I can't remember to last off season ::).

eventually all data gets deleted i think HP otherwise we could go back into the previous years results

( which imo we should be able to access any previous years work )

We still get access to this season's stats and ladders and such like until next season begins (where it is all wiped again). Pretty sure this happened this season although I can't really remember that far back :-\.
