We seem to be good at finding diamonds in the rough but really suck at our #1 draft picks....

#9 Jack Ziebell (Was heading the same way until he sort of had an injury free year and dominated)

#43 Liam Anthony (Is a good player, just not getting a game)

2009 Draft -
#5 Ben Cunnington (Shows spurts but is inconsistent, maybe a good pre season will take him to where he should be)

#25 Aaron Black (First game on weekend and looked alright :))
#37 Jamie Macmillan
#80 Cruize Garlett (Pretty good for where he was picked)

2010 Draft -

What do you guys think of our drafting lately? I feel we draft really well in finding gems, but some of our first rounders are very suspect.

Some great players coming from late in the draft, which is a great help. eg Speight, Garlett, Edwards all very late picks!

Maybe you should trade for all late picks, then you will always get gun players :P.
