Ok, 19 rounds in, 1 round to go before the real stuff begins.
The question is what strategy are you going into the next 5 rounds with.

How many trades have you got left ?
How many trades will you go into the finals with ?
How much cash in the bank ?
How will you manage your bye players ? Are going to sideways trade prem's who have bye or relying on bench cover ?
( baring injury and possible general soreness of prem's )
Are you relying on getting straight into the prelim avoiding the cats bye?
Who is your big wildcard you may bring into your side during the finals ?

Just putting it out there as i'm curious where peoples thoughts are. No harm in letting strategies known now as it is probably too late to change now even if you wanted too.

How many trades have you got left ? 2
How many trades will you go into the finals with ? 2 (Well hopefully, will not be trading this week so yeah)
How much cash in the bank ? Next to nothing. 5 grandish
How will you manage your bye players ? Are going to sideways trade prem's who have bye or relying on bench cover ? Rely on bench cover. 8 premium forwards or 3 premium rucks or 7 premium mids whichever way you want to look at it. Have cover for Petrie, Gibbs and Enright depending. If i lost week 1 however enright probs get the chop
Are you relying on getting straight into the prelim avoiding the cats bye? No dont rely on it. Have chappy and enright but still got a side full of premos so id hope id be okay
Who is your big wildcard you may bring into your side during the finals ? No one. I think Id have all the players i need to win

How many trades have you got left ?
2
How many trades will you go into the finals with ?
2 - Wont be trading this week
How much cash in the bank ?
$27,000
How will you manage your bye players ? Are you going to sideways trade prem's who have bye or relying on bench cover ? (baring injury and possible general soreness of prem's)
Round 21 - Swallow covered by Cotchin, Petrie covered by Mzungu/I. Smith
Round 22 - Bartel covered by Cotchin, Stevie J covered by Mzungu/I. Smith
Round 23 - Gibbs covered by Pedersen/Puopolo, Kreuzer covered by Z. Smith/Mzungu or I. Smith (can move Petrie in to ruck)
Round 24 - No Essendon players
Basically my 2 trades will be saved for replacing an injured player, otherwise I feel my cover is fine :)
Are you relying on getting straight into the prelim avoiding the cats bye?
Would be handy, but with Cotchin and Mzungu/I. Smith as cover feel it would be ok if I didn't.
Who is your big wildcard you may bring into your side during the finals?
Haven't actually thought about it cos with only 2 trades left they are there for emergencies. My team is already set :)

How many trades have you got left ? 2
How many trades will you go into the finals with ?2 - Wont be trading this week
How much cash in the bank ? $68k
How will you manage your bye players ? Are you going to sideways trade prem's who have bye or relying on bench cover ? (baring injury and possible general soreness of prem's)
Round 21 Petrie covered by Mzungu/Tapscott
Round 22 Scarlett covered by Lower/Stanley; Ottens DPP with Petrie and Petrie covered as above
Round 23 Gibbs covered by Stanley/Lower
Round 24 Hibberd on bench and may be an upgrade for final 2 trades if needed
Are you relying on getting straight into the prelim avoiding the cats bye? Would be good but not relying on it
Who is your big wildcard you may bring into your side during the finals? Have not thought about it with only 2 trades remaining. Team basically set. If still having trades in finals may bring in Judd or other high scoring premium in Mids for Cotchin/Bolton

( baring injury and possible general soreness of prem's ) have fyfe as m7 to cover chappy and judd.  Lower to cover gibbs and enright.
Are you relying on getting straight into the prelim avoiding the cats bye? Nope
Who is your big wildcard you may bring into your side during the finals. ?  Go heavy on hawks for final.  Keeping my bye players when others will trade creates unique options for week after.

I'm going to upgrade Petrie to Fyfe this week. Have no Geelong players (will trade in Stevie J when time is right), no Carlton players (Judd comes in GF week) and have only Heppell (who will be traded to Judd) from Essendon

Are you relying on getting straight into the prelim avoiding the cats bye?
No Geelong players, I feel this'll give me the advantage week 2, which is why I'm only using 1 trade this week.

Who is your big wildcard you may bring into your side during the finals?
Judd
