Going for overall position and secondly trying to win my league... Have 8 trades 80k in the bank, overall rank 173...

Gibbs, Delidio, Goddard, Heppell, Broughton, Adcock, Stanley (Lower, Puops, Coad)
Boyd Pendles, Swan, Thompson, Mzungu, Prestia (Ablett, Mitchell, Wallis)
Cox Smith (Bailey, Tippett)
Stevie J, Goodes, Chappy, Sylvia, Petrie, N Roo, Higgins (Buddy, Knights, Lynch)

What trades should i do to complete my team? Doesn't necessarily haveta be this week but progressive trades in the near future? Downgrade knights and upgrade lower and hepps? Get a backup m7 (dont think i need it) Any suggestions would be awesome fella's and if i end up making it in the top 100 overall it will be because of all your advice..Cheers...

I would suggest Knights to Callinan in the next few rounds if he gets over his hamstring strain and is named, as it would give you some flexibility with Mzungu and Prestia. In your backline I would be looking at S Fisher as his price is about to drop significantly and could become a bargain player who is averaging over 110 for the year.Gibbs and Enright would be others to consider but do have their byes during the finals. *Just IMO* :)

Pretty sure Fisher is averaging about 88 for the year, not over 110, but I agree otherwise.

I disagree. I think you can get an edge over people by holding ONTO knights.
Everyone is trading him out. If you hold him and he performs, its a win for you.
If people did some research, they would see that Knights has an awesome run home. He players 3 teams in which he has scored 88-90 against this year, GC which he scored 116 against, a free flowing Essendon which should suit his game style (I would tip him to score an 85+), Richmond, which he should dominate (expecting 95+) and then Geelong and West Coast, where you may want to bench him. He will be no worse than riewoldt over the remaining games, so you may as well hold onto him as a F8 at least and play him when he plays GC etc...

You have sufficient MPP coverage so I wouldn't expect to see a 0 in the mids or forwards.
Obviously you need to upgrade the backline, so I would do this:
Lynch to callinan leaves you with ~180k in the bank
Lower to a premium. Leaves a minimum 50k.

Then next week, Stanley to Fisher, which leaves a minimum 30k.

Alternately, trade Lower to Symes who is a bit of a risk but may be what you need and seems to be hitting some form recently as he is not playing as the sub anymore.

Then trade Stanley to anyone (probably fisher) and you will have premium coverage in the backs and still have 6 trades and money in the bank.

With a foward line that stacked, sell Knights asap. Can't believe someone has helped him that long..! Callinan is an easy one to pickup.

Didn't Knights get dropped for Adel last game??? Hard to score 80+ points when you are playing reserves!

madskill55

Don't know if Knights will even be able to come back and pump out 80+ scores even if he does get back to full fitness. Should I just hold knights till callinan comes back or another cheap fwd comes into action?

Also The question is who do i trade lower for? Obviously in 1-2 weeks time, Fisher will have dropped and will be a good buy, but i still need one more key defender.. any thoughts? Shaw, Rawlings, Suckling, Enright?

Are you serious? He copped a hit in the head and was subbed because of the concussion. He wasn't right and therefore wasn't picked for the next week. Think Joel Selwood. He will be back for round 18. (I hope!)
