Ok I think I am in an "alright" position heading into finals. However I have no strategy from here on in. What are my next moves to make??
ANY help is much appreciated

Backs
Gibbs Delidio Shaw Goddard Broughton Adcock Heppell
(Stanley Puopolo Jacobs)

Mids
Ablett Pendlebury Swan Boyd Bartel Smith
(Hibberd Bewick Prestia)

Rucks
Cox Sandilands
(Smith Tippet)

Fwds

Where do I start???

Alot of trades which make it much easir for finals ;D. Rucks are covered as long as Sandi comes back and smashes it for you with Coxy there.

The last man in all the other positions could use an upgrade to help before finals start. Should take maybe 5-6 trades to do that so not a huge amount used in comparison to what you can use during finals 8).

I think you could free up some cash by downgrading Heppell/Puopolo/Stanley/Jacobs/Hibberd/Howe/Mzungu to have some cash for other upgrades. Maybe in the coming weeks if the right rookie comes by. Would have suggested Smith to Lobbe this round but a tad too late for that. Not to mention Smith is pretty good cover when needed (unless you want the cash then go 90k rookie as you have MPP with Petrie). I'd probably do 1 downgrade, 1 upgrade in the weeks leading up to finals. Get a solid team finished entering the finals so you can use the remaining trades just to fine tune the side (e.g injuries, form, etc).

Have alot of trades banked and quite a good lineup so can look to just improve your lineup once you finish off the lines :). Good luck with the league arradin.

*Peace Out Pplz.

What I would do from here on is:

Buy another premium defender. Downgrade Bewick to Callinan, bewick has done his dash and you get another MPP link. Then trade puopollo to fisher. This means you can play adcock or heppell on the bench for nice cover. Keep stanley too for extra coverage.

Alternately, downgrade stanley to Symes and then upgrade Puopollo to fisher. Symes is hitting form and could keep pumping out 100's. This would allow you to play Heppell and Adcock on the bench and use either of them for cover when needed. Hird has said that Heppell will be rested at some stage - you don't want that to cost you a finals match.

This also allows heppell to cover your mids.

Buy another premium forward. Better coverage, higher scores when people pull out/are out because of the bye.

Downgrade mzungu to a forward on the bubble or any forward really, ideally this player will be your last man picked, and you won't need him. Then upgrade Howe to any forward you want, I would recommend O'Keefe.

Finally, downgrade Jacobs and upgrade Smith to a premium midfielder. Ideally, you want another premium midfielder for your bench to cover for bye rounds.

This is what I would do, in this order:

R17
Puopollo to Symes. Leaves you with 60k.
Smith to Montagna. Leaves you with 14k.

R18
Jacobs to Talia. Leaves you with ~140k.
Stanley to Fisher. Leaves you with ~120k.

R19 - no league match
Bewick to Callinan. Leaves you with either 210k
Howe to O'Keefe. Leaves you with with either ~70k

R20
Switch Prestia and Mzungu so that Mzungu is playing in the mids.
Prestia to a forward rookie. Leaves 170k.
Mzungu to any premium midfielder around 440k.

This will leave you with 4 trades for the finals series, however you will probably not need it by this stage. According to my strategy, if you follow it perfectly, you will be left with this team:

Backs
Gibbs Delidio Shaw Goddard Broughton Fisher Symes
(Adcock Heppell Talia)

Mids
Ablett Pendlebury Swan Boyd Bartel 440k premium
(Montagna Callinan Hibberd)

Rucks
Cox Sandilands
(Smith Tippet)

Fwds
Fyfe Franklin Pavlich Petrie NRiewoldt Higgins O'Keefe
(Knights Richardson Forward Rookie)

You will have a premium team playing every single week, even during byes. You will also have Montagna as premium mid cover, adcock as premium back coverage along with heppell being allowed to cover both the midfield and backline due to the MPP link with Hibberd.
Finally, you will have Knights as forward cover, I suspect he will dominate the last 5 rounds because he plays easy teams and he scores well against easy teams.
Lastly, if you are not happy with any premium players or they get injured in finals, you can just trade them because you will have 4 trades left to much around.

Good luck, hope this helped. :)
