m0nty,

I don't think the additional betting blogs do anything for your site.

There's no feedback for them, they're not written by you, or others who we respect.

They're just a con for losing $$$, and you have a big youth following that get enough encouragement on this from other forms of advertising already.

We live with the adverts, coz that gets a site happening, and functioning well (ie. server upgrades etc.) But advertorials is selling out. You shouldn't put your name or reputation on the line for that rubbish, IMHO.

Pls. consider losing that, and encouraging more of your fans to contribute their independent efforts.

Chief Runs With Beer

Nick Tedeschi's "articles" are a whole lotta nothing, masquerading as attempts to lure the Fanfooty community to wager at Betfair. Couldn't Nick give it to us straight up - provided the current markets available, any betting fluctuations and be done with it?

I wouldn't mind that one bit, but -

"Carlton are big favourites against West Coast but the Eagles will make it a contest"

- and the article which follows are clueless crap with zero research which most of us mugs already know about and have talked about over a few suds at the local.

Furthermore, Betfair have no need to sponsor their brand on a website dedicated to fantasy sports, frequented by under-18s - PARTICULARLY since Betfair have nothing to offer in terms of fantasy sports betting (which makes Sportingbet's sponsorship at DT Talk plausible).

In my opinion Monty, this was a poor business decision by yourself - I imagine this opportunity was offered to you by ShiftyMP since he works with the company.

m0nty

You don't have to read them if you don't want to.

BTW, I did not know ShiftyMP worked for Betfair.

m0nty, thanks for responding.

I know I don't have to read them, and had already decided that I will avoid them before posting this thread, m0nty.

It's your site, and I have plenty of reasons to appreciate what I find here. Just thought providing some feedback would be a reasonable thing to do.

Still enjoying my fantasy footy!
